Apparently performance enhancing drugs have always been around. I recently saw an episode of Popeye titled "The Twisker Pitcher", that had originally aired on May 21, 1937. The episode entailed Popeye's baseball team vs Bluto's baseball team. Guess what Popeye used to beat Bluto and his team? Spinach. Et tu Popeye? I think it's time for Popeye to hold a press conference and come clean with the public.
I thought it was funny and needed to share that.
