Such signs as earthquakes, aftershocks, and
historical hurricanes are one thing, but
tonight in Boston something really odd took
place that hasn't happened with much frequency
in recent times. AJ Burnett kept the NY
Yankees in a game, and not only did he keep
them in it, but he didn't need a 17-1 lead
to accomplish it. Burnett threw five and a
third innings where he only gave up 2 walks,
1 home run, and two runs, earned or otherwise.
That's a 3.37 in game era for those of you
keeping score at home. Not a believer?
He could still get the win! OMG we're doomed!
