Back To Basics

So in this edition we go back to the keyboard,
but fear not friends, you haven't HEARD the
last of the Mad Stork.
Last year "bad" teams like the Nationals and
Marlins gave the Mets such a hard time, the
Mets made history in futility. The Nationals
are at it again, to finish August and start
September the Nationals, the worst team in
baseball swept the playoff chasing Dodgers
and took two of three from Philly who is still
chasing the Mets, all the while winning 8 of 9.

No sooner did I mention that the Indians had
won 10 in a row to attempt to make the season
respectable last week, than they go out and
get swept by another huge disappointment this
year the Seattle Mariners. Sheeesh

Last year on on September first the Rockies
were six games out of first, this year they
are too, and closing fast.

If Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson needs the
attention this bad that he changes his name,
then the talk with Ray Lewis is exactly what
I expected it to be.

The NY Times had some mention of Usain Bolt
receiving undetectable performance enhancing
drugs prior to the Olympics. Hope I'm wrong.
